In this class, we will learn how to make a paper space scene you can hang in your own house. These are lots of fun to make and the curly paper makes it 3D! ___________________________________ Class structure: In this class, we will start by coloring our pieces and cutting them out. Then, students can choose whether they want to put a photo of themselves in the window of the rocket or if they want to use stickers or draw a picture there! Once that's done, we'll learn how to cut and curl our...
Students will improve their fine motor skills by coloring or painting their printed rocketship scene, and by cutting, curling, and gluing construction paper to their picture. They will improve their planning skills as they decide how they want to arrange the pieces of their collage on their page. And, they will also have a chance to improve their social skills by interacting with other students as they create a cute decoration together.
I love making these adorable posters and find paper-curling to be an incredibly simple way of making a flat piece of art more interesting and fun.
등록 시 3개의 파일을 볼 수 있어요.• Rocketship printouts (2 pages of scenery elements, provided on classroom page upon signup) • A sheet of dark-colored construction paper for background • Construction paper in desired colors (red, orange, and yellow will likely work best) • Scissors • A pencil or pen (for curling paper) • Tape or glue (gluesticks or liquid glue both work fine) • Markers/crayons/colored pencils/etc (your choice) • [Optional] Glitter, beads, stickers, etc for extra decoration • [Optional] A photo of the student that they can paste inside the window of the rocketship (When printed full-page, the window is about 1.5 inches in diameter)
Students will be using scissors and tape or glue for this project. Younger students and students with difficulties that could make these a danger to them should have an adult closeby for assistance. (Please remember that Outschool policy asks that parents remain off camera during class.)
