I bring over 20 years of classroom experience as a middle school math teacher to this class, ensuring a deep understanding of how to effectively teach and engage young learners. Currently, I serve as a K-5 math and science curriculum coordinator, where I design and implement instructional strategies to improve student learning outcomes.

I hold a Master's degree in Teaching and a Master's degree in Special Education, which equip me with the skills to support students with diverse learning needs, including those with ADHD, Dyslexia, and ASD. I am also pursuing a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction, further enhancing my ability to create and deliver high-quality educational experiences.

My extensive background in education, combined with my specialized training in curriculum design and special education, ensures that I can provide a supportive and effective learning environment for all students.

세부 내용: Homework will be assigned twice a week to reinforce the concepts covered in class and provide additional practice. Each assignment will include a variety of problems designed to cater to different learning styles and challenge students at their individual levels. 

The types of homework will include:

Practice Problems: Students will solve a set of problems related to the week’s lessons, focusing on whole numbers, fractions, decimals, factors, multiples, properties of operations, algebraic expressions, ratios, proportions, integers, and graph interpretation.

Interactive Activities: Assignments will include interactive activities using IXL, such as math games and quizzes, to make learning engaging and fun.

Application Tasks: Students will complete real-world application tasks where they apply the math concepts to practical scenarios, such as measuring ingredients for a recipe to understand ratios or creating a graph based on collected data.

Checking Homework

Submission and Review: Homework will be submitted through our online platform and reviewed weekly. I will provide detailed feedback on each assignment, highlighting areas of strength and offering guidance on areas needing improvement.

Correctness: Assignments will be checked for correctness, and students will receive personalized feedback to help them understand any mistakes and learn from them.

All assignments are required for all students. Consistent completion of homework is crucial for reinforcing classroom learning and ensuring continuous progress.
