Computer science is essential for students to learn at an early age, as it helps in all subject areas. Writing code helps spark creativity and problem solving within your child. Students will learn Blockly style coding through code.org and create their own dance party video. We will first start with some basics of coding and finally move into sequences and looping. Students will code their characters, their characters’ dances and movements, and even their songs. Students will end with a really cool dance video created on their screen. *This is not a video that anyone else can see. Only the learner will have access to his/her video.
