수업 소개
In this class, students will be learning beginning coding skills on the code.org website. Students will use drag-and-drop block code to create a "Flappy Bird" game. They will learn how to customize their code to make their own unique version of the game. We will begin class by introducing ourselves and sharing a fun fact. The students will watch a short video to introduce them to the tasks they will be completing. They will participate in a teacher-led mini lesson, and then will have time to work on creating their game. At the end of class, students will have the opportunity to share their game with the group. They will also have the option of saving a link to their game or sending it to a phone or other device.

수업 자료
Students will need to have access to the code.org website while also participating in the class meeting. This can be done by using a separate device for code.org, or knowing how to switch between tabs on their web browser. A separate device is recommended so they are able to see both at once, but is not required. Students will need to know how to access code.org and log in to the program before the start of class. Directions for this, and the "teacher's section code" will be sent to you after registration.
