The project can be completed without making an account, but cannot be saved and shared on the website. You can save the file to your computer without an account. You need to create an account at https://scratch.mit.edu/ and sign in, if you want your Lerner's project to be saved automatically. You have the option to share the project publicly and the option to keep it private. If you decide to have an account, please create one before the class starts.
