*Two small sheets (~4-6") of wax or parchment paper (this is a great non-stick work surface)
*Tools: household items or modeling tools of similar shape: *toothpick, *chopstick, *plastic butter knife (or cutting tool of any shape)
*Damp cloth/ paper towel or baby wipes to clean hands between colors
*Polymer clay - can use any brand or even air dry clay
- colors: *white, *black, *1 dark and *1 light of any color (for body, wings, head), *color of your choice for the beak, eyes, and eyebrows (oranges or browns work well)
*Aluminum foil or oven-safe glass/ metal surface for baking after class
*optional: eye pin if you want to use this as a charm
