In this one time class which is part of the City Explorations series, students will learn all about the history, food, music, art and geographical location and amazing fun facts about the home of the Pyramids of Giza, Cairo, Egypt. We will be exploring in more detail the following landmarks of Cairo: the Pyramids of Giza, the Cairo Tower, and Cairo Citadel. Comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills will be used throughout our lesson. A slide show presentation, images, maps, flash cards, and videos will be used in the learning process. Class discussion and a Q & A session will be part of the learning process. Social Studies, English, History, Geography, Art, Science and Sports will be covered in this class.
