In this weekly camp, students will review important foundational skills in reading, grammar, writing, and math. Students will review important concepts from kindergarten and first grade. This camp meets four times a week. The classes do not build upon each other. Students are welcome to join anytime. Each week, students will … ⭐️ Review letters and sounds ⭐️ Complete phonemic and phonological awareness activities ⭐️ Practice decoding words ⭐️ Practice spelling CVC and CVCe words ⭐️ Counting ⭐️ Practice number recognition ⭐️ Complete a math activity ⭐️ Review a grammar concept ⭐️ Complete a grammar activity ⭐️ Write sentences ⭐️ Complete a fine motor activity Each week will have a special theme. The activities during class will follow the weekly theme. See the schedule below for each week’s theme.
