수업 소개
This class meets once, and is offers students a chance to virtually hang out, kick back, and some fun with friends! After a brief time of greeting and an ice breaker, get-to-know you holiday themed question, we’ll play our game! Teacher Carol,will play just a few notes of a popular Christmas tune, and students will race to name that tune! If they’re stumped, a little more tune will be played! The game will continue until everyone has named a tune, or we run out of time, whichever comes first! It’s just a fun opportunity for students to have face time with peers, and to bring some joy, laughter, and fun to this very different Christmas season! ***All music used in this class will be non-religious in nature! *** This class is designed to be fully interactive and students are expected to be fully engaged. If interacting with teacher and peers is uncomfortable for your student, this class is not a good fit for them.

Carol Burns is an experienced classroom teacher with 38 years of experience teaching and working with children in a variety of settings including public school, charter school, children’s church, Awana and youth group leading, camp program directing, outdoor education, foster parenting, and teaching online. Carol holds a B.S., an M.A., and a PhD in Pedagogy and Alternative Education.
In addition to teaching Outschool, Carol is a homeschool graduate, and a homeschooling mama of one adopted daughter. Together they learn voraciously, read exponentially, and set out on quests of the most delightful sorts, pursuing whatever intrigues them at the moment, be it natural, scientific, historical, literary, artistic, musical, or multi cultural.
