In this one-time class, scholars will learn about various Christmas mythological and folklore creatures and tales from around the world. The lesson will open up by asking scholars what Christmas creatures and legends they currently know about before diving in to exploring! This class will be a great opportunity for mythology fans and fans of Christmas tales to learn about how the holiday is viewed from various points of view throughout time. Scholars will learn about Christmas creatures and folklore from around the world and expand their view of Christmas and how meanings and beliefs about the holiday have changed throughout time.
I've taught Mythology and Folklore courses for the past 5 years and have been an avid Mythology fan for over 15 years. I'm eager to hear about your learner's knowledge of mythology and connect it to the holiday season.
