In the beginning of the class, learners will be encouraged to share/discuss the Christmas traditions in their country and family (they are welcome to share pictures and/or videos from previous years' celebrations as well). After that we will talk about what Christmas celebration looks like in other countries (material taught will retain a secular view). This will be an interactive lecture in which learners will actively participate by asking/answering questions and expressing their opinion....
I am a global nomad and have visited over 85 countries, passionate about sharing these experiences and knowledge with others. While visiting these countries I was fortunate enough to meet many local people that helped me get exposure and better understanding of the local cultures and traditions. Sources will include: cnn.com, history.com, nationalgeographic.com, holidayextras.com, countryliving.com and other. Please note that the material discussed in this class will be a general overview of the countries' traditions and will not go into historical details.

Additional sources will include people that live in the countries discussed in class - I will be reaching out to different people and interviewing them about Christmas and New Year's traditions in their family and their country (multiple perspectives will be included in the class presentation).
