What will be taught? Improvisation will be taught to create a routine, What topics will you cover? Students will be participating in a physical fitness/movement activities though out the class. Please be aware that your child can end up injuring themselves. Therefore please make sure your child has sufficient dance space, proper foot ware (choice of ballet shoes, barefoot, Jazz shoes, tap shoes, and/or sneakers). In addition, I encourage all students to have a water bottle near by and is warmed up before class to avoid injury’s. Parental supervision is strongly encourage to help your dancer assure their safety and spacial awareness.
I have been teaching dance for the past 6 years. And in the past summers I managed, directed, and choreographed an annual Dance Camp for ages 3-11. In addition, I have a BA in Psychology, and minors in Dance and Early Childhood Education (P-3). Pursing masters in School counseling
