Hello to all the advanced-level Mandarin Chinese learners!
Reading is a great way to learn a new language, I believe your school teacher also requests you to read for at least 20-30 minutes every day. How about let's read together and make our reading time more fun?

In my reading club, all the students will take turns reading out loud some interesting books every week. Each week, we will focus on different topics. I will correct your accents, explain the meaning of the new words, and we will do comprehension together. We will try to read stories WITHOUT pinyin, and learn 2-5 new characters each week.

After finish learning the story, there are some fun and engaging games waiting for you🎮

Will it be too hard for you? 
The books will be selected by ACTFL proficiency as novice high to intermediate low. It will be perfect for advanced learners that are working on YCT 3-4 LEVEL or HSK 2-3 Level. If you go to a Chinese immersion school, that is normally equal to Grade 4-6.

What kind of book we will read?
We will read both fiction and non-fiction. We will read books about family, animals, foods, school days, holidays, STEAM, and I will be so happy if you recommend we read a specific book in our reading club. (I need the authors to authorize us to read a book, but we can try to email them to see if we have the right.)

Our lesson plan:
5 minutes: Greetings and free chat
20 minutes: Reading and Discuss
10 minutes: Flashcard and review(games)
5 minutes: Wrap up and say goodbye

Our weekly plan:
 Week 1:My angry Mom. 我的妈妈爱生气。（daily activity 日常活动）
Week 2: What is this ghost. 这是什么鬼？ （body parts' name and daily activity 身体部位名称和日常活动）
Week 3: Miss Pizza goes to the party .披萨女孩去派对（Clothes' and foods' names. 衣物和食物的名称）
Week 4: Oh, troubles.有麻烦怎么办？（How to deal with different troubles? 如何克服身边的小麻烦）
 Week 5: Doctor Appointment.看医生 （clinic, doctor, medicine,etc.诊所，医生， 药品）
Week 6: Gifts. 礼物 (Gifts, greetings 礼物，打招呼）
Week 7: The map of my room.房间的地图（how to say directions in Chinese.怎样用中文表达方位。）
Week 8: Healthy Lunch 营养午餐（What kinds of foods makes a lunch healthy？ 什么样的午餐是有营养的？）
