중국어 초보자 독서 캠프 - 1부 (간체자)

It is preceded by part 0 which is a radical and pinyin primer. If your student has never learned about Chinese characters before they can start with this class to get a better grasp of the radicals (an alphabet of sorts for Chinese characters) as well as a pinyin primer so they can better pronounce the characters in use in Mandarin. We will briefly talk about radicals in part 1 of the series as well but if you haven't done characters before I highly recommend this class first.

It is recommended, not required, that students have some grasp on pinyin and tones to make it easier to correctly pronounce and tone the characters as they read them. Students will learn 25 words a week during each of our weeks using videos, flashcards(Anki is recommended for this) and games/activities to review. We will also do a project with a few of the words of the student's choosing for a final assignment.

10 minutes - Review of prior material learned
10 minutes - Video
10 minutes - New Vocabulary time
