With over 8 years of experience keeping chickens of all ages, I have seen it all! In this class, students will see some of the things I’ve changed in my coop and run in order to accommodate my “senior” chickens. Slides will be shown of my set ups and supplies. Students will be presented with a case from real life and help me find solutions for the senior chicken in question. This is a great class for those who have had chickens for a while and want to learn more, or are wondering what they can do to help older birds. Students will also have the opportunity to ask any questions they might have and will be encouraged to share about their flock if they’d like.
