The teacher will greet the students and introduce them to the lesson's topic. The teacher will ask students to pair up and share (or simply share) with each other why they are interested in pursuing a career in nursing. The teacher will cover the following: -Discuss the education requirements for becoming a nurse, including obtaining either an associate degree in nursing (ADN) or a bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). -Discuss the prerequisites required for most nursing programs. -Discuss the educational path required to become a nurse practitioner, nurse midwife, and nurse anesthetist. At the end of class, the teacher will facilitate a Kahoot activity to assess students' learning. Students are encouraged to share their comments and ask questions.
