Students will brainstorm and create their own demigod character-based within the Percy Jackson series. Each student will need a paper/pencil or electronic device to take notes and make a character profile. Students talk about different character traits (physical and internal) to help identify a character’s thoughts, feelings, actions, personality, and traits as the teacher asks questions pertaining to their character. Students will be able to create their own unique character by the end of class. Students will learn the types of questions they ask in creating a character. Students will learn what makes a good character description verses a bad character description.
A worksheet handout on the first session will be provided by me. You do not need to print it out, but do need to follow along with the questions to develop your character.
