We will celebrate cats in Egyptian art. Before Class: Students are encouraged to sketch or draw a picture of their cat or a cat in an Egyptian theme to share with the class and discuss. The class will be structured with a sharing discussion about each student's cat in the beginning if the student brings their cat. I have taught social studies for k-12 grades in the public school sector as a guest educator for over four years. In addition, I have studied art history in my undergrad years. More importantly, I have worked in veterinary industry and showed cats since 2008. I have also published several children's book with three being focused on cats. Lastly, I have also attended a myriad of Egyptian art exhibits around the world.
