This is a class I have created due to popular demand. The learners in my classes always want to know how I create my magical, interactive, animated mystery classes. Well, this is your chance to see behind the scenes of my adventures and learn all the tips and tricks that I use, and create your own awesome designs. Canva is a website that aims to make graphic design accessible. There is a pro version but for this class, the free version is all that you need. Each week we will focus on a new skill, I will share tips and there will be a challenge. Learners will create their designs and be invited to share and discuss them. Week of 31/10/22: Layering elements - The pumpkin patch poster challenge Week of 07/11/22: 3 facts about your favorite animal - Presentation challenge Week of 14/11/22: Precision placement in design - The badge challenge Week of 21/11/22: Business ideas - Logo challenge Week of 28/11/22: Combining elements - The animal character challenge Week of 05/12/22: Linking presentations - The choose your own adventure challenge Week of 12/12/22: Animations - Moving Movie Poster Challenge Week of 19/12/22: Videos - 2022 Review Recording Challenge Week of 26/12/22: Videos - 2023 Resolution Editing Challenge Week of 02/01/23: Sound and Music - New Year Challenge Week of 09/01/23: Smart Mockups - Enterprise Challenge Week of 16/01/23: Cropping - Grid game challenge Week of 23/01/23: Layered Scenes - Hide and Seek Challenge Week of 30/01/23: Story Boarding - Comic Strip Challenge Week of 06/02/23: Stop Motion Animation - Cat Party Animation Challenge Week of 13/02/23: Bringing your characters to life - Valentines Cat Challenge Week of 20/02/23: Week of 27/02/23: Week of 06/03/23: This is an ongoing class that will continue. The free design website, Canva, is required for this class. There is a pro version but you do not need to pay for this in this class.
An adult or child 13+ should sign up for the FREE plan on www.canva.com before to the first class. I will share my screen with tips and tricks and learners will create their own designs. If learners want to they can either share their screens or upload their designs to the Outschool Classroom to discuss in class.

I trained at a top drama school in London and create devised theatre and inclusive dance performances. I have been a teacher in schools and further education for the last 16 years. I specialize in teaching drama, English, maths, enterprise, and working with students with learning disabilities. In December 2020 I left my full-time job teaching maths, drama, and citizenship in a secondary school for autistic learners to work full time at The Kitty Kat Detective Agency International.
I am passionate about inclusion and mastery. I am skilled at teaching complex concepts using simple visual methods. I use my acting training to retell magical stories with fun, maths puzzles, and games woven in with top tips for individual students on how to develop their maths and communication skills.
I set up The Kitty Kat Detective Agency International as lockdown began inspired by my son's love of mysteries, maths, and cats and I love it so much I never take my whiskers off.리뷰
