This is an all-time favorite book "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" with a life lesson. The book is by Aesop and translated from the English Language Edition- Tiny Owl Publishing Ltd 2015 The class will start by welcoming everyone in both Cantonese and English. We will start the story and it will be read in Cantonese with an English explanation. We will be learning the Chinese vocabulary and students will have time to practice the words. We will be talking about the meaning of the story and play games and learn how to draw sheep. An activity sheet is also provided for the class. (If a printer is not available please bring a blank sheet of paper to class) The class will be fun, interacting and students will be learning Cantonese while enjoying it! No prior Cantonese knowledge is required. ---------------------------------------------------------------- MEET OUR TEACHER: TEACHER ANGEL 👧 ABOUT: Teacher Angel is a language tutor with experience teaching children aged 3–17. She creates engaging and fun lessons to spark a love for learning in young learners. CREDENTIALS: ⭐ Bachelor of Arts (Hons) majoring in Chinese Studies & Psychology from The University of Hong Kong ⭐ 6+ years of teaching experience in both Cantonese and Mandarin TEACHING STYLE: 👩🏫 Her classes are playful and nurturing, designed to match the energy and curiosity of young learners. 👩🏫 She focuses on interactive activities, visual aids, and hands-on practice to help children build language skills in an enjoyable and supportive environment. FUN FACTS: 🐈 She has two cats who may occasionally make a guest appearance during class! ------------------------------------------------------------------ ENROLLMENT DETAILS: 🔔 Requests for cancellations, make-up classes, or refunds for no-shows made during or after a class will not be accepted. For emergencies, please contact Outschool support for assistance with refunds. 🔔 According to Outschool policy, we cannot offer make-up time for students who arrive late. Teachers are not required to wait more than 10 minutes past the scheduled start time.

I’m Joanne, the founder. I was born in Hong Kong, moved to Canada, and returned to Hong Kong after graduating from the University of Toronto with an Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree. Currently, I am based in Canada. With over 10 years of teaching experience and growing up in a bilingual family, I have deepened my understanding of the obstacles faced in learning both languages. I draw upon my experiences to help children improve in both languages.
