Class Experience The aim of this Latin course is to give young learners a taste of the Latin language by learning about the culture that spoke Latin, the Romans, and learning Latin roots. Learners will read Latin comics out-loud, with vocabulary help, to practice their Latin pronunciation and then translate the short sentences. The text for this class is "Minimus: Starting Out in Latin" by Barbara Bell, published by Cambridge University Press. Each learner will need a copy of the book. The book can be purchased on Amazon for about $34. The text is sometimes referred to as the "Minimus Pupil's Book".
