In this ongoing club, we will be exploring everything modern calligraphy and hand lettering! Previous experience will be helpful, but not required. Beginners are welcome! This class is extra helpful for students who want to apply calligraphy in various contexts, such as bullet journaling! In each class, learners will first learn the technique/skill, and then have a chance to practice with provided printable worksheets! Students will learn a variety of calligraphy and hand lettering skills, styles, and techniques.
I have been doing hand lettering freelance for over six years. This includes brush lettering, faux calligraphy, and traditional calligraphy. My particular expertise is in creating home decor signage, card design, and wedding calligraphy.
Before each class, a recommended supply list and printable worksheets will be sent out at least 24 hours in advance. For most classes, a basic pen or pencil will do! But for our more specific classes, (crayola, watercolor, brush, or pointed pen calligraphy) certain utensils will be required.
