수업 소개

Were you ever told that you cannot build muscle without lifting weights? I have been proving everybody wrong for a very long time now by doing bodyweight exercises that are very effective and rewarding.

-Class Structure:
1) Introduction. Small talk while we wait for everybody to come to class. 
2) Workout - 30-35 minutes - Exercises include a lot of varieties of planks, mountain climbers, push-ups, burpees, jumping jacks, sit-ups, leg exercises, lower back, and other bodyweight exercises that will improve the physical strength and durability of students. 
3) Small Talk and Cooling off. 

-The exercises are pre-recorded. I will share my screen with students and they will be able to see exactly how to perform each exercise. This allows me to monitor and correct their forms if there is any need while they perform the exercise. They can also take a look at any moment and remind themselves how to do the exercise shown on their screens. 

-It is very important to me that each student feels comfortable. I will increase/decrease the intensity and each exercise will have a moderate and advanced version for students in case they need a better challenge or more rest. Students are encouraged to take their own breaks and level their pace to match their comfort. 

-No experience in working out is necessary, we are all just trying to improve our lifestyles :)

-The ultimate goal is to demonstrate to students that they don't need to go to the gym or lift heavy weights to meet their fitness goals. All they need is a 6 by 6 square foot of space and dedication.

Students will need a little bit of space while doing the workout in order to perform jumps, burpees, etc. (6 square foot preferably).

-Yoga mat. Students won't necessarily need one, but having one will help with comfort. 
-Water bottle near. Breaks will be short during the workout and students should have water near them.
-Running or any type of shoes you can work out. :)

Hello! Coach Luka is here. 

I teach fitness and soccer classes at Outschool. Teaching became my biggest passion in the last 5 years. The interactions I have had here in the past 15 months are treasured in my memory for ages to come. I plan to continue to teach here for a long time. 

I believe in education and self-learning. I got my BA degree in Management and Leadership. Besides my BA degree, I completed 2 master's degrees, in business administration (MBA) and Strategic Leadership (MSL). 
As a soccer coach, I currently hold United States Soccer Federation "C" License and my goal is to hold a professional coaching license one day. 
I have been actively working out for the past 10 years. The exercises I do with my body weight have helped me stay fit, healthy, and sharp (mentally and physically) and I want my students to feel the same.

My goal is to become friends with every person I interact with and to share the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Our culture teaches us that we need to look like people from magazine covers and I believe this puts a lot of pressure on our youth. Being active does not take a lot of time and sacrifice. I love pushing my students to become better versions of themselves through fun and challenging workouts.

I am originally from Serbia and I moved to the United States in 2013, without speaking English. The obstacles to most of our goals are our attitudes towards the process. We can all achieve great things if we put in the work.
