This class is all about show and tell but with books! Students will come to class with a book that they want to share with the rest of the class. The class will have the opportunity to ask questions about the book being presented and see if it is a book they would like to read. A handout will be provided for students to "make some notes" before class to help them as they share their book and then also to write down any books that are shared that they would like to read in the future. I will be guiding the sharing and discussion and be using my years of teaching phonics and English to help support students.

Students will use Speaking and Listening Skills in sharing their book with the class.Students will use the note taking handout and write down at least one book they are interested in reading that another student presents.
