This captivating class takes students on a trip to space with me, Ms. Dyonne. In this lesson, students are transported to each of the eight planets, the sun and our moon. An overview of our solar system. 2. Facts about the star at the center of our solar system, the sun. 3. Facts about all eight planets in our solar system. 4. Information about Earth's moon. The class is entirely self-paced, allowing your child to explore the universe at their own speed, making it the perfect fit for any schedule. My name is Dyonne and I am honored to be an Outschool teacher. I am currently a homeschooling mother of two. Before becoming a mom, I was a preschool/elementary school teacher for ten years. My experience ranges from teaching two-year old’s up to second graders. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and a Master’s Degree in Reading, Language and Literacy Education.
I love teaching and believe that my purpose is to expand on the excitement for learning that young children have. The best way to do this is through interactions and activities that are highly engaging. My goal is for my students to have so much fun during our sessions that they do not even realize that they are learning.
Many of my classes will be reading, language and literacy based; however, I am looking forward to including math, science, and social studies within the classes that I offer.
I am an avid reader along with other hobbies which include cooking, spending time with family and taking long walks.
I look forward to meeting your child in my classes.
