In this fun and interactive class, we’ll celebrate Dragons Love Tacos with a lively read-aloud, a discussion about the book’s colorful illustrations, and a creative taco-themed drawing activity. Students will explore how illustrations add humor and detail to a story, talk about what makes a taco perfect (or too spicy!) for a dragon, and design their own dragon’s dream taco. The class begins with a read-aloud, followed by a guided discussion where students can share their thoughts on the story and illustrations. Then, we’ll dive into a hands-on drawing activity where students create and decorate their own dragon-approved tacos. My teaching style is engaging and interactive, using discussion, storytelling, and creative activities to keep students involved. Learners will have plenty of chances to participate by answering fun questions, sharing their ideas, and showcasing their taco designs at the end. This class encourages creativity, laughter, and a love of books!
