생물학/화학 대학 진학 준비

During this 6-week course we will cover university level biology and chemistry curriculum.
Each week we will have 2 classes: one for bio and the second class for chemistry.  Worksheet covering topic related practice will be distributed every class.
Each student will have an opportunity to ask questions, discuss ideas, to be assessed for unit knowledge. 
A quiz based assessment will be distributed  to evaluate student’s knowledge. 
My classes are very interactive and I make sure students understand the concepts before we move on. The teaching periods would be followed by time during which students will have an opportunity to practice and work on their assigned projects. 
The detailed curriculum:
Week 1/bio -  cell structure, eukaryotes, prokaryotes, organelles
Week 2/bio- Basic units (sugars, lipids, DNA, proteins) 
Week 3/bio- Information flow - replication, transcription
Week 4/bio- translation 
Week 5/bio - mitosis
Week 6/bio -  mutations, diseases, final quiz
Chemistry
Week 1- periodic table, atomic number, atomic mass
Week 2 - electrons arrangement, valence electrons
Week 3- ionic compounds, naming
Week 4- molecular compounds, naming
Week 5- chemical reactions, balancing
Week 6 -  synthesis/decomposition, product prediction

After completing course material and submitting all projects and assignments students can receive a course completion transcript (for university applications/or high school credits).  Looking forward to teaching your student!
