This class will teach your preschooler basic skills they will need at the beginning of Kindergarten.  I will provide a handout each week that we will use in class with suggestions on how to support learning at home based on what we do in class.  

Each class will start with greetings in English  and German. I will sing a welcome song in two languages and then we will do calendar (with songs) in two languages and weather in English. I will introduce our letter of the week in English with a song. We will learn the letter of the week and learn the sound each letter makes before we learn the American Sign Language sign for that letter. The class will then practice writing the letter of the week. We will practice counting and shape identification every day with a special shape hidden in each lesson. 

Each class will include time for the kids to socialize and then we will close with a song in English and German.

June 7-11: Letter J, Shakers, Jungle Habitats, Patterns
June 14-18: Letter K, Kings' Dances, Caterpillars, Patterns
June 21-25: Letter L, Long Pauses, Rollercoaster Loops, Patterns
