I will begin with assessing each students level of phonemic awareness.  We will start with letter sounds, then move into blends and other sounds that lead to fluent reading.  I like to make learning fun! There will be some dancing and some singing and I want to make your student enjoy learning how to read! A lot of our learning will be face to face, not a lot of slide shows, and some demonstrating with a document camera. Through this ongoing class, meeting 1 time per week, we will cover letter sounds, blends, CVC words, CCVC words, fluency and numerous phonics rules.  

Additional resources can be provided if needed for your student to practice in-between classes.

More information on weekly goals will be continued as the learners grow.  You may join the class at whatever time is fitting for your student.
