Students will understand and apply an understanding of both Treble and Bass Clef and how they interact on the master staff. 

Students will understand and apply an understanding of the conventions of music, such as:
The musical alphabet
Key signatures
The Circle of Fifths
Reading musical notation and identifying simple tunes. 

Students will understand and apply an understanding of the basics of theory in their final composition project. 

Violin and Viola teacher for all ages for 7+ years.
Violinist for 20+ years. Violist for 3+ years. 
Participated in community music groups, and music education in early learning settings for 5 years.

Learner progress is assessed through their demonstration in class of understanding and applying the learning goals. 
Also each student will be graded based on their final composition project. Grades available upon request.
