5 minutes- This will be spent building background knowledge and discussing what learners already know about flowers and plants. 10-15 minutes- I will read and discuss the story "Seed to Plant". I will stop frequently to discuss what we've read, point out details from pictures, explain why and how pictures are labeled certain ways, discuss key vocabulary and allow time for learners to share their own thoughts about what we've read. The goal of this class is for students to learn about the life cycle of a plant, the parts of a plant, the importance of plants and fun facts about all types of plants, flowers and seeds.
I am offering this class because I love plants, gardening and nature! I was born and raised on a grape vineyard so planting, farming and tilling the soil are in my blood :)! I am excited to share my knowledge about plants with young learners!

Homework for this class is optional. A few homework ideas are 1. Have your child draw and label the parts of a plant. 2. Have your child draw and label the life cycle of a plant/flower. 3. Have your child plant a seed, keep a journal and observe what happens to the seed over time.수업 외 주당 0 - 1 시간
