Yoli the Axolotl과 함께하는 초보자 스페인어 캠프(1주일 동안 주 3회)

Learning is most fun when we can share our interests and what we like best. In this conversational Spanish camp, we will practice conversational Spanish by sharing our favorites with my special plushy, Yolotl the Axolotl. (Yolotl means heart or corazón in Nahuatl.) I call her Yoli for short :) Teacher Reina will begin the conversation by asking students about their favorite animal, color, celebration, food, and games. This one week camp will establish a routine for learners to engage in fun and meaningful ways of learning and practicing Spanish together. This camp functions as an introduction to Spanish and will include bilingual instruction, so students of all levels are welcome to join. I ask all students on their first day what their experience and comfort level is with Spanish and will do my best to accommodate all learning levels.  This is not a Spanish immersion class.  This class might be great for learners who are new to Spanish or learners who are reluctant to speak Spanish at home and need more intentional time to practice conversational Spanish in a fun way.  Learners are encouraged to bring their own plushie to class to join our Spanish class :)

I believe in honoring diversity and inclusion. I believe learners need to be seen and centered on their learning journey.
