초보자 러시아어: 바로 말해보세요

To make the beautiful, rich Russian language immediately accessible I use bright, colorful images, games, and lots of praise and encouragement. Classes are organized to get your child comfortable and speaking Russian right away. The topics covered are those children naturally want to talk about so that they feel more invested. Lots of review will always be included and material is introduced slowly but at a pace that keeps it interesting. While plenty of vocabulary is introduced, the focus is always on increasing your child's ability to communicate in Russian from the beginning. 

This class is perfect both for students who are completely new to the Russian language as well as those who might have grandparents or even parents that speak Russia, where the children do not actually speak Russian themselves. 

Material to be covered over the 4 weeks. 
The first lesson of the week will always be more of an introductory lesson while the second lesson will allow children to strengthen their abilities and review previously learned material. 

Week 1: Introducing oneself and asking the names of others. Numbers to 10. Introduce the Russian alphabet song. 
Week 2: My name is ___, I am ___ years old. Review with numbers. I like/love (food) + introduce food cognates so students can communicate right away. What is this? This is ___. 
Week 3: Colors. I don't like _____. I like ___ but I don't like ____. This is my mom, dad, brother, sister, me. 
Week 4: I live in _______ (state). I have/don't have a dog/cat. I have ____ (number) of pets.
