Each week, we will be covering different stitches for beginners in embroidery as well as getting started. Our class will include teacher demonstration, student practice, and discussion on ways to use the stitch(es) learned. Week 1: Blanket and Running Stitches Week 2: Back Stitch Week 3: Satin Stitch Week 4: Fishbone Stitch Week 5: Lazy Daisy Stitch Week 6: Stem Stitch Week 7: Outline Stitch Week 8: Split Stitch Week 9: Chain Stitch Week 10: Feather Stitch Week 11: Fern Stitch Week 12: Cross Stitch Week 13: Herringbone Stitch Week 14: French Knot PLEASE have all materials for class ready for each class! Students will need to know these stitches in order to attend other embroidery classes.
