In this one-time class, we will play a fun game of Jeopardy with the questions and answers being addition questions. The goal of the class is not to learn new math skills, but rather to practice our math skills with friends. We will be starting with 1-digit addition and working our way to 2-digit addition problems. It will be an interactive, game style where the children can "buzz in" but also can ask their peers for help in answering questions. I would suggest basic addition skills and there will be a more advanced course for students that have attended this one or are looking for more challenging questions. If students are struggling with an answer, we will work through the problem together. I will have Montessori beads to help us with adding as well so they can have a visual representation to see the adding of numbers.

Hello! I am so excited to meet your learner!
I have worked with dogs most of my adult life, and loved every minute of it! I took care of dogs while their parents were at work or traveling, as well as worked in dog nutrition and dog training. Our family rescues dogs.
I homeschool our two children (ages 11 and 12), so I have knowledge in math, history, science, and English as well. I used a Montessori approach in teaching our children math and we love playing games to practice our knowledge.
I teach classes that are interactive and love to answer questions. I want to make sure that students have their questions answered. Oftentimes I will send worksheets for students to do after our class meets for further instruction if they are interested in additional information.리뷰
