This class is designed to help students become confident in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions. Fractions can be challenging, but with the right strategies, students will learn how to approach problems with ease. This course is self-paced, allowing students to take their time mastering each concept before moving on to the next. What Your Child Will Learn: *Understanding fractions: What they represent and why they matter *Adding and subtracting fractions with like and unlike denominators *Multiplying fractions and understanding when multiplication is needed *Dividing fractions and the reasoning behind "flip and multiply" *Strategies for simplifying fractions and finding common denominators *Real-world applications of fractions to help students see their importance How the Class Works: *Each lesson will focus on a specific fraction skill, ensuring students build a strong foundation. *Visual aids, interactive examples, and different problem styles will be provided to accommodate different learning styles. *Students will have time to practice new skills with guided examples before working on problems independently. *After each lesson, students will receive additional practice problems to reinforce their understanding. *At the start of the next lesson, we will review the previous practice problems together, addressing any questions or misconceptions. By the end of this class, students will have a solid understanding of fractions and feel more confident solving problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
