This is a live class designed to support enthusiasm for balloon art. It is a sharing group for your art. Breakout groups based on balloon art focus may be used to support class discussion. This class will not be recorded because of copyright rules. Example topics discussed: Balloon characters, balloon animals, Balloon hats, Balloon faces. We may practice drawing different faces on our animals or use the whiteboard feature to draw different faces, or eyes to go on our balloon art. If the meeting time does not work for you, please reach out to me for private lessons or to enroll in another section. Propose a time that works for your schedule.

Balloon scraps are a choking hazard to pets and babies. Encourage your child to clean up after themselves and to not put balloons in their mouths. Small kid scissors are a safety tool and should be near by at all times. Balloon swords may be covered as they are a kid favorite. Balloon jousting with a friend is encouraged. Play with balloons inside only with parental permission as you may knock items over while creating your art or jousting with a friend. Only play joust with permission of the friend.

Students should be able to make at least one balloon creation on their own. Any student that has read a balloon twisting book or made their own balloon creation can participate.

I'm a nationally certified Physician Associate with over sixteen years of clinical experience, home-schooling mother, and substance use disorder counselor. I am a native of North Carolina, teaching from the United States. I tutor english, math, and science and prepare students for college entry. I teach english as a second language. I am a medical missionary to other countries and disaster relief volunteer and worker. I have been working with students of all ages for over 30 years. I am a graduate of Duke University and formerly affiliated with the UNC School of Medicine at Chapel Hill.
In my free time, I like planning fun outings with my son like ziplining, cave exploring, and parade watching. I'm a singer, dancer, and musician so I enjoy integrating music into my lessons.
I also speak and understand intermediate Spanish so I enjoy teaching English as a Second Language Classes. In the past, I have studied Nepali, Mandarin, and Spanish so I enjoy hosting students from different backgrounds and cultures because of my work abroad. I started exploring the world through humanitarian missions and pleasure travel since I studied abroad at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
I enjoy bringing smiles to students' faces whatever it takes (whether that be a song, joke, or big smile from me). I hope my classes help you make friends from around the globe as we learn together!리뷰
