수업 소개

Bring your pony or unicorn to Ballet Class!  In the first few minutes of class, each child will be able to share one thing about themselves to build confidence.  Class will begin with fun and engaging exercises without out pony or unicorn that will warm up and stretch our bodies.  Basic Ballet Barre exercises, as well as some Ballet Technique will be taught.  We will then work on basic motor skills through a very special Magic Garden dance game.  We will move right along into a My Little Pony inspired dance, perfect for your tiny dancer and will end with a game of freeze dance!  No experience necessary for this class.

Your child will learn beginner ballet dance steps in a creative and positive learning environment.  They will also learn choreography to a short ballet dance which teaches various patterns.  Dancing to music also teaches the student how to develop rhythm and musicality.  And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!

Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in these online dance classes, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself. Please note: transfer requests need to be made at least 24 hours before the class start time.

If you are unfamiliar with zoom, there are two settings in which you can take class.  Gallery view allows you to see all learners and the instructor the same size.  Speaker view allows you to see the instructor on the main screen and the learners at the top.  Please note:  what you are able to view is a setting specifically on your zoom account. Hello!  I’m Miss Lauren and am a performer, educator, choreographer and former dance studio owner in Milton, VT.  

I am trained in various styles of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern and Acrobatics and hold a Bachelors Degree in Dance.  I am also a professional for Dancing with the Stars Burlington and have graced the Flynn stage with my performance in 2019 and guest performance in 2022.  

I provide wholesome dance classes where movement and music selection is always age appropriate.  My main focus is to create a fun and energetic learning environment allowing kids to express themselves!  I have been instructing children of all ages for 18 years and have loved every minute of it!

When not dancing, I can be found spending time with my husband and two boys.  Dancing has always been my number one love and passion and is the fuel for my soul!  I can’t wait to see you in my class!  Now let’s get moving!  


Please note:  Transfer request can be accommodated if requested a least 24 hours before the section begins.  This allows time to fill the spot in class that your child was holding.  I also try to respond to messages within 48 hours.
