수업 소개
This class is catered for beginner/intermediate dancers. Dancers will learn the fundamentals of ballet through; barre technique, terminology, proper alignment, and across the floor combinations. This class gives dancers that are new to ballet a chance to incrementally learn and gain confidence in their abilities! The focus of this one time class will be balance. We will work on the proper posture in order to successfully balance on relevé (tippy toes) as well as, how to balance on one leg specifically learning an arabesque and passé!

Please make sure your child is dressed in comfortable clothes they can move in, and ballet shoes (gym shoes are okay if you don’t have these) Have a water bottle ready as I will give a “water break” in the middle of class. Also, create a designated space for the child to move safely and freely (move couches, tables, etc out of the way)

Hi Parents!
My name is Ms. Alisha, the classes I teach are Ballet (3-5yrs), Ballet/Tap (3-5yrs) Hip-Hop (3-5yrs), Ballet (6-10yrs), Jazz (6-10yrs), and Contemporary (6-10yrs).
I started my dance training at the age of two; building solid foundations in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and contemporary. I later went on to receive my Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Columbia College Chicago. During my time in college, I discovered my love for teaching.
Since moving to California I started my own dance studio Elevé Dance Studio! Elevé is dedicated to the achievement and growth of our dancers! We pride ourselves on providing a wide range of dance styles including: ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary. We provide high quality dance instruction for all children regardless of race or gender. Elevé aims to expand every students’ dancing abilities through fun, creative, and engaging classes! Each class is tailored to its students’ age and technique level. Our classes will enhance your child’s confidence, self-expression, and creativity!
