수업 소개
In this ongoing ballet and tap class, students will learn a variety of dance moves and choreography. Kids will have a lot of fun dancing to their favorite songs. New choreography each week. This is a beginning level class, no previous knowledge is necessary. As this is a combination class, every other week will focus on one style. No tap shoes required, but if you have them that will be great. Students will be up and moving the entire class! Class Format: 5 Minutes: Introduction/Warm-Up 5 Minutes "Across the floor" learn vocabulary and practice some new moves 10 Minutes: Learn approximately 8-16 counts of dance choreography. We will use Disney and Kidz Bop versions of popular songs. Each section and move will be broken down piece by piece. At the end of class, we will have a final "performance" and students will pretend they are performing in a dance recital in their living room! January 9-16: Ballet January 17-24: Tap New material will be learned every week. Feel free to join at any time. Virtual Performing Arts Academy is a warm and welcoming performance studio. We strive to inspire all our students. We believe each of our students is a star!

As with any type of fitness activity, there is potential for injury. Students should have enough room to move around during class free from any furniture and other objects. They should wear comfortable clothing. They may wear closed-toed shoes (sneakers), dance shoes, or dance barefoot when appropriate.
Please Note: For 5-year-olds, they may attend this class or the kids class which is ten minutes longer. Please choose the section that is a better fit for your child.
