In this three times a week , Early Education Classroom experience, your child will focus on reading, writing, science, social studies and math with an experienced, licensed teacher. Monday: Reading Comprehension Tuesday: Science/Writing/Social Studies Wednesday: Math/Writing I will message you after each class to give feedback from class. This course would be ideal for a POD of learners. Invite other families to join this engaging and educational learning journey. Hi! Welcome to my Outschool classroom.
My name is Betty Nilssen. 💕
I have a BS in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish from UW-Milwaukee. I am a first grade teacher, but I have also taught second, third and fourth grade, full inclusive classrooms. My teaching license certifies me to teach grades 1~6. My passion for teaching reading while incorporating phonics, phonemic awareness, rhyming, comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, science, social studies, math, drawing and writing helps children strengthen their academic skills while they gain academic confidence and a love of learning. Teaching reading is my super power. I can support your young learner.
I have three adult daughters and two of them are teachers. My mom was also an educator.
There are so many books to read, words and sentences to write, math equations to solve and fiction and non fiction pictures to draw and label. Let's get started!
