Preschoolers and kindergarteners can participate in an exciting one-time class where they will learn about different Arctic animals. The class will cover the animals' colors, sizes, diets, and interesting facts. After discussing several Arctic animals, the students will use what they have learned to guess which Arctic animal is hidden behind some mystery shapes. As a follow-up activity, an activity sheet will be provided for students to work on after the lesson. Hey there! I'm excited to share that I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and spent a wonderful 10 years teaching in a public school. I had the pleasure of teaching 6th grade for 5 years and then taught in a 3rd grade classroom for the last 5 years. In my classes, I used small groups and tailored instruction to meet the diverse needs of my students.
I'm really passionate about encouraging reading for fun and for learning. I truly believe that when students have a solid foundation in reading, learning becomes a whole lot easier. And you know what? Math has now become my new favorite subject to teach! I love coming up with different ways to help struggling learners and to challenge those who are stronger in math. I firmly believe that by making math and reading enjoyable, we can inspire a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
