I will provide video feedback in addition to a written practice plan, that includes a warmup, and specific goals for the main music the student is working on. Students will learn how to improve their accuracy, sound, tuning, posture, musicality, through the feedback. They will also learn how to practice to achieve their musical goals. I will ask for a video of the student playing music that they want feedback on in addition to a picture of the music, if it's not widely available. In order for me to provide the best feedback, I should be able to see their violin and bow along with their hands and arms in the video. I will provide a video with feedback within 48 hours of receiving the student video and a written practice plan. If the student has an audition that they want to hear an example video of, please let me know and I can provide the video first with a recording and advice. If you have questions about the plan or the feedback, I will be available to communicate about it for the whole week that you have signed up for. It will generally take about 15 minutes to prepare and record a video to send in, after that the timing of the practice plan I suggest will be based on the general level. It should take between 20min-1.5hours to review.
