수업 소개
Learners will paint step-by-step pictures with me. There will be a simple picture created using step-by-step instructions. Learners will gain the knowledge of painting, using colors, mixing them, and creating fun and easy pieces of art. The learner will also gain knowledge of following step-by-step instructions. This allows learners to focus on their listening and viewing skills which are useful for school-aged learners. Learners also have the opportunity to share their paintings after we all are finished and give positive feedback to other learners in the class. This class is a great first step for learners participating in instructional activities, all while making an awesome art piece.

The class will be held even if your learner is the only enrollment. 1-on-1 is just as important to me as a "full" classroom, so sign up!
Please remember learners are expected to follow directions and use paint properly. If your learner is off-task painting, using paint incorrectly, or with the camera/sound off, I cannot intervene as needed nor get your attention to come and assist with your learner.
Reminder: There is a 10-minute late policy, please arrive on time to avoid missing the full lesson or class.

Washable paints are preferred (Crayola, watercolor, or tempera paints) a couple of brushes, a water cup for cleaning brushes, paper towels, white and black or light and dark-colored crayons, and paper.

Hello and welcome!
Thank you for coming to take a look! I teach arts & crafts, K-5 classes, electives, and clubs. I have been teaching for 9 years in different positions such as a learning center teacher, substitute, facilitator, and club leader. I have loved every position because of the amazing students and the opportunities we get to take in their educational careers.
Most students that I have taught say they've had a great and amazing time and the others think I'm funny and cool. So overall past students really enjoy me, as much as I enjoy them! Keeping it fun, interactive, engaging, and real with my students makes all the difference in our day together. Learning is not all about lectures and tests, it's about engagement and hands-on learning for our students.
Certifications I currently hold are substitute teacher and TESOL for ESL/ELL. I have subbed for 5 years in various California school districts and immersed in English Language Learners education throughout my career.
Something fun about me, I LOVE to do my own nails. Yes, I prefer to do them myself. I find new products to try out, paint, design them basically anything! I started being interested when I was around 8 or 9 years old and I self-taught how to paint, make hearts, just really try anything. Once YouTube became available (yes, I'm older than I look) it really was endless possibilities. I like sharing this with my students because it gives them a chance to see no matter what it is if you are interested enough you can make it a hobby or passion!
