발음 및 발음 "R" 연습

Communication is an important element of life. Oral communication can be challenging for many people. Being able to articulate your thoughts, enunciate your opinions and have good diction all result in being able to get the words out of your mouth in a clear manner. It is a muscle that can be trained and worked on through exercise and practice. There is power in being able to communicate orally. There is a confidence that a person has when their words are understood. I created this class because I want children to have that confidence and power. 

This is a 30-minute, 4-week class that focuses solely on the "R" sound. We will do fun tongue twister exercises and work on multisyllabic words every week in order to improve diction and articulation with the "R" sound. The first 5 minutes will consist of facial stretches to loosen tension in the jaw and relax the face and tongue. We will practice 4-6 tongue twisters a week. We will recite them as a class as well as individually. 

The following are themes that will be covered:

Week of 1/19 theme - short tongue twisters

Week of 1/26 theme - multisyllabic words

Week of 2/2 theme - long tongue twisters

Week of 2/9 theme - short tongue twisters

This is a great class for anyone interested in acting, broadcasting, joining a debate team, wanting to become more confident in speaking or just wanting to improve diction and articulation. No prior experience is needed. My approach and experience comes from an acting background and these are exercises that I do myself on a regular basis. This will be a safe and respectable place where all are welcome.
