수업 소개

Do you have a budding artist who makes tons of art? Is there more art than room on your walls? In this one time live class learners will be guided through an online art show and tell. This is an opportunity for your artist to begin to curate their work and revisit pieces made in the week preceding class. Learners will take turns to show and discuss their work and will be prompted by questions about materials and subject. This class will focus on sharing, artistic language, and building confidence.

This class will require the learner to talk in the classroom with camera on and interact with other students. Parents or caregivers are expected to help learners with the technical usage.

An artwork created by the learner in the preceding 5-10 days. Any medium is welcome.

NOTICE OF HOURS: 
---> Does it look like nothing is on the calendar? Mrs. Ross teaches many private lessons and flex classes that aren't always shown on the calendar. Reach out if you don't see what you are looking for. 

----> Mrs. Ross will be running self paced courses through Summer months.  Mrs. Ross's live classes, lessons, and tutoring for the 2024/25 school year will begin during the second week of September. Spots are filling up so please inquire as early as possible.  Fall schedule will be solidified Mid August for the following fall term.

----> Questions about art supplies and resources? I'm happy to chat any time. I'm here to support your learners' art goals even in between sessions/classes.

Sharon is a professional fine artist/illustrator who has been teaching studio curriculum on Outschool for 6 years . Prior to bringing her art and art technique programs to Outschool she taught in schools, community centers, and private studios dating back to 2006. 

Sharon has illustrated FOUR published children’s books, as well as a few that never made it to print. Check out her newest picture book "Refin Builds A Rocket Ship". 

When she isn’t sharing her passion for the arts with learners on Outschool Sharon is creating work in as many different mediums as she can get her hands on.. Sharon's classes are rooted in Reggio philosophies and strives to equip learners with the tools they need to be successful in AND outside the classroom.
