Class Experience

Learning Birds & Drawing Animals Art Adventure is a 50 minute easy science and drawing course. Mixing art, mazes, and facts about Birds. Classes begin with a brief warm-up and introduction to the bird. The main lesson is a live drawing and story about the animal. Learners will be able to see my face following the progress of my drawing hand on Zoom or work ahead during the demonstration. 
Learners will also learn about facts about that weeks bird.

We discuss the animals features, eating, habitat and predators. We will discuss practical ways that we can help the animal to through conservation. 

Learning Birds & Drawing Animals Art Adventure is intro science/art class that introduces students to overcoming the fear of drawing and learners can ask specific questions for their specific art experience. The science of animals mixed with the creativity of drawing makes this a easy fun class to learn about nature.

In addition to the class learners will receive a free subscription to my activity guide Mazing U. For learners to print, color and play games. The guide will encourage learners to practice drawing as well as share some of the birds we cover in class in their spare time.  Practice drawing outside of class increases skills allowing learners to express their art through many different birds.   
After we draw the last bird, the class will loop to the first bird again. Whatever week you join, your learner will have the chance to draw them all!

Goal 1 Inspire the learner to gain confidence in expression through drawing art regardless the outcome. Learners are encouraged to accept their drawing mistakes as beautiful vs erasing

He combines his love of the science of birds , drawing and storytelling to create an interactive class about birds.  Stokes has perfected a simple process to teach learners science of birds as well as the skills to draw them!
