Exploring, challenging, taking risks, through art these things can lead to expansion in your life. Art journaling is a safe space to practice these things, as well as learning some fun techniques and building skills you can use your whole life for self expression and wellness.

I have been teaching art journaling for over a decade to all ages and art abilities. If you have a creative young person who doesn't like writing, I have alternatives they can use to participate. My youngest son has learning disabilites and doesn't write, and I have a variety of strategies (none that involve any type of coercion) but pulls on a journalers strengths, so they can still fully participate. This is a no-rules, can't do it wrong art class where there will be no judging of work. Every piece has elements that are remarkable...that is where I offer feedback...on elements of wonder that all art-makers are capable of.
