수업 소개
In this four week flexible schedule program learners will explore the basics of one and two point perspective, adding this key fundamental to their artistic toolbox. Each week learners will be guided through drawing exercises, video demonstrations, peer critique, and weekly discussion prompts to engage with the teacher and co learners. The material that will be covered is as follows: Week One: why perspective? One point perspective and man made objects. Week Two: one point perspective and organic objects. Week Three: Going to extremes with 2 point perspective. Week Four: Two point perspective and foreshortening. Learners should be prepared to share in the classroom with drawings, photos, and videos. **Updated videos for 2024!**

Learners should come away from this program with a strong grasp of perspective fundamentals, and how to apply them to their drawing practice. Learners who are new to perspective may come away with a larger artistic vocabulary and tips for art critique.

Sharon is a professional fine artist/illustrator who has been teaching studio curriculum on Outschool for 5 years . Prior to bringing her art and art technique programs to Outschool she taught in schools, community centers, and private studios dating back to 2006.
Sharon has illustrated FOUR published children’s books, as well as a few that never made it to print. Check out her newest picture book "Refin Builds A Rocket Ship".
When she isn’t sharing her passion for the arts with learners on Outschool Sharon is creating work in as many different mediums as she can get her hands on.. Sharon's classes are rooted in Reggio philosophies and strives to equip learners with the tools they need to be successful in AND outside the classroom.
