아트 클럽: 계절과 휴일을 주제로 한 그림 그리기

During this weekly, ongoing class, students will create fun art pieces based on current holidays and/or seasons using a step-by-step method. Students will draw with pencil first and then students may use colored pencils, markers, pens, and/ or crayons to color their drawings.

My goal for this class is to not only teach the students how to draw each piece, but to also give the students practice and techniques to improve their artistic skills on a regular basis. Practice = progress. My second goal is for all the students to have fun during this process. Art should be fun! 

During the class, we will socialize while drawing. We can talk about what we're drawing. We can talk about everyday life or each student's history with art. We will talk about whatever comes natural. 

⚠️ Note: This class can contain any holiday from around the world. We may even add in fun holidays such as national pancake day. Do you want a specific holiday celebrated? No problem! Make sure you tell Mrs. Lacy the week before and she will prepare something to include your holiday!

This class is paritally weekly dictated and partially learner directed. The week before each class, Mrs. Lacy will suggest topics that pertain to each current season or holiday and the students can help decide which topic to choose. The students will take turns each week choosing. 

If the student is slow at drawing, it's okay! We all create at our own pace, but unfortunately, we only have the time that we have so the student may be encouraged to finish their piece after class. The classes are recorded so the students are able to watch the recording, go at their own pace (by pausing the video), and try to draw it again.

Knowledge of prior drawing classes will not be necessary since there will be new drawings to draw every week. Students can join this class at any point without getting lost. This is a no pressure class. We are just drawing, socializing, and having fun! 

2 cameras will be used during class. 

Students will have the option to share their drawing during class, if they want to.

Students may be muted if there is a lot of background noise or if other students are talking. Please show them how to unmute themselves when they are ready to talk. Thanks!
